I know that sometimes it is difficult to understand what others are saying on the phone, especially when the person is spelling a word or a code. Thus, for airlines companies, when they answer your phone calling to confirm your ticket, they will expect you not to say ASZ 234 (for example), but Alpha Sierra Zulu 234.
Fine, when you know that Alpha, Sierra, and Zulu should stand for ASZ. But what is wrong if I say, Alpha Santa Zero 234. Isn't it the same? Why did the person at the end of the line treat me like I am some kind of idiot?
Forgive me if I don't work in travel related bussines, but who decided that Sierra stands for S and that Santa cannot stand for the alphabet S anyway. Yes, I said Santa not Fanta…S not F.
How about if I make my own rule? Asterix, Batman, Cubitus, etc. Let's see if you can "spell" my way.
